I watched this in German with English subtitles and found it to be one and a half hours pleasantly spent. In their situation, they don't have to act like they hate sex. We want to collaborate, cooperate, and create. Hooligan Gently sexy, mildly quirky, shyly arty and very human. Their tears were the summer rain.
Directed incidentally by the notorious Erwin Dietrich. I was surprised to find that, for what it is, it delivers what it promises, and what one would expect from this genre of film. I must say that after seeing this film I am an immediate fan of Brigitte Lahaie, and would love to see more of her work. At least that is how it appears.
What does happen, though, is that you uncover a new set of circumstances. Brigitte Lahaie, here in her prime, has the most perfect, gorgeous body and face I have ever seen! The smile that is unwavering with pride and solidarity is present more frequently than ever before. The pine needles softened their steps. I wonder how they manage.
It had a possibly slightly oversaccharous, feelgood ending, but by that time I had been won over by the characters and could cope with the sweet send off. If so, send us a message with all the details and we'll take things from there. The interesting trope of not showing any of the men's faces keeps the film firmly focused on the women's stories while allowing a glimpse at how several of the characters relate to men. The girls are taken to a mysterious prison located on a beautiful island. We want the in between. Passion in work meanders, it changes, it ebbs and flows.
We needed an outlet for our passions. The anamorphic picture was absolutely beautiful, top quality, as was the audio. Its doubled or squared or multiplied in a way that gives emotion, from good to bad, an equal multiplier. We walk our dogs, and proudly pick up their poop. Does that sound like your jam? If you let it be. .
This is somewhat rare in sex films; usually great care is put into finding attractive actresses, but the men are usually just thrown in, and they mostly are very ordinary, or just plain unattractive. But not here, on the island where most everyone is pleasing to look at. Of course this is all an excuse to show a lot of sex and nudity. However there are no scenes of male to female sexual intercourse. They actually seem to be enjoying the whole experience! The sun always returns after the storm. An accidental meeting of a group of not-quite-so-strong women grappling with life and auditions leads to their heading off on a day's adventure.
They are the flowing rivers and the rolling hills. It was all too silly to be sexist, or offensive. The same radiance you see at any given moment can still give way to a dullness that cannot be anticipated. We find solace in knowing our past.
It is hard to classify the film as hardcore, or soft core; There are many closeup shots of the female genitalia, with a lot of graphic masturbation included, that would be considered way too explicit for late-night cable. And there is sometimes still pee on the seat. A unique, and overwhelming one. We find happiness in forging our future.
We eat tacos and drink margaritas, a lot. Acting, shooting and script were all excellent and the music was tasteful and well performed and then incorporated into the plot. We love what we do, and we hope you do too. The thoughtful script maintained a dry whimsical tone with moments of sadness.
